PartyIs overseer docker only?
There is a Windows, Linux app versions that I know of.
PartyReally! I can’t find it I only see docket
PartyDocker

pijama_papiEmby
JeffI’m still old school Kodi running on raspberry pi
How do you find it with Trasncoding, or do you all direct play?
JeffDirect play. I’m just careful to not download the 139gb version of Ben Hur
come on.. EVERYONE needs a 139g version of Ben Hur.. I thought that was a given.. lol
farmerfranceI need help understanding what docker is and why I need it for jellyseerr.. I've attempted to install everything directly to my server without docker and haven't had any luck
Docker is software that creates little containers for other software to operate in. You dont NEED it, but it helps.
Dakotanot after the new plex ui. jellyfin is the only option
@arionrfg I should do a video on Jellyfin, its very overdue I think .
DakotaDo not forget to include themes and plugins!!! the intro skip plug-in is great. The upgrade to a theme compatible version is tougher on casaos though.
Thats good to know!
Are-Metwhy hosting yourself, find a friend that host. 😂
kyla666🤷♀️Emby 😉
Петър КостадиновEmby
purpi🦦what i love about jellyfin is just how customizeable it is. If you need to have a very very niche thing you just write a plugin for it. From my experience it is also much more lightweight and the video quality is much better
Yeah I do love that!
Ewan 🏴im heavily in the plex camp because its easier for the older people in my family to set up on their own devices
NilsGreat vid. I’m thoroughly enjoying using Ruddarr, it’s an iOS app that seems to work super well for me. Wish there was a way for remote users (like when I’m away from home) to request content more easily across the board though.
Yiu could spin up overseer access for others and put that on a cloudflare tunnel, so they have access that way. But you would need to set auto approve though.
TimmmeeehhhHave started using overseerr recently and it’s fantastic. Was just using direct search on radarr/sonarr before but i would often not know when new things came out. This is so much easier.
•I believe part of Jellyseerr and overseer merging is the ability to integrate them into jellyfin, so you can browse and request from inside jellyfin. At least I hope so. I’m only dipping my toes in atm with a server hosted on my windows pc but I plan on setting up a docker server on a ugreen nas
Oh interesting.
ChadNope Emby over here! Better the jellyfin had way too many bugs with jellyfin. Plex asking for money -_-. Emby all the way.
NicJellyseer and Overseer are merging into a single project called Seer!
Really?
ChadDid not know that awesome!
freddy.funkoIm using plex and overseerr for years with allot of fun and joy
treboraccountWhat about having your own Jellyfin server but watching it on Apple TV? Does it / or can it work without internet?
If you use the infuse app on the tv, it will work with the JF server.
Echo BucketJellyfin doesn’t have an official Apple TV app so I’m sticking to plex for now. I do want to switch though
holt and catch waterjellyfins Swiftfin has tvOS support now, it's a bit rough (ive had some weird issues) but it does work
Oh that's co
Echo BucketYeah I tried it. There’s no sorting options it’s pretty bad.
RHITEdjJust use infuse, you won’t go back
It's a great option.
gagePersonally I just run both. Plex most of the time because I don’t use GPU transcoding because I don’t have enough storage for 4k content anyway, and jellyfin for when plex has issues
Not a bad idea honestly.
v1n574💙should users run all this tools and arr stack through VPN or only the downloading tool they using?
If You just vpn the container that is doi g the dl you're OK, just be sure that the other tools can access the container still if they aren't on the vpn themselves.
coolbike31Jellyfin c’est quoi se connecter au serveur Hôte ?????
Oui, avec Jellyseerr, vous vous connectez à vos services de téléchargement, quel que soit votre lecteur ou serveur multimédia.
coolbike31Tablette android
user8373829373928Is there a plex plugin you can download a movie within plex gui?
bill_jk_90I tried jellyfin, the ui sucked ass on every device, it crashed regularly, and it couldn’t detect 1/4 of my media. On plex it all just works. It’ll take a lot to convince me to try to switch again
I prefer plex over JF, for this exact reason.
User7434680007532236778What about emby?
I REALLY need to do a video on emby.
ptinsleyI use Emby 🤷♂
Good choice
NickFirst rule of fight club….
Is if you have cookies you need to share them with the whole class?
NickTelling the teacher about the cookies and how you eat them gets the cookies confiscated.
Jessee BarnesYeah I agree with everything but your recommendation. I use Plex and love Jellyseer.
Overseer is a personal preference but there are pros and cons to everything!
zreezyPlex is the best, skill issue if you have any problems with it
vinceI just don't want to pay for Plex pass for remote streaming and hardware transcode. Jellyfin offers both for free so I switched 🤷
zreezyFair, I did get Plex lifetime pass for like $20 many years ago so it is something I dort of forget about
vinceYeah I was a long time user but I never bothered to get a pass of any kind just because the free tier offered everything I needed. As soon as features were locked behind Plex Pass I jumped ship. I'm happy with my Jellyfin setup, only complaint is the first party clients for iOS and TV OS are terrible.
HiếuMoney issue only 👍
Jure PokeržnikRunning both plex and jellyfin. Some of my friends prefer one over another and SamsungTV doesn't have native jelly app. I prefer jellyfin obviously but I prefer having options either way.
XynaI use emby and private trackers, and prefer to organize the files myself.
user23770317455can you go over radaar and sonaar
Ton-Ethere is some really useful info on them on trashguides if you're still looking
star_houndEmby ftw
dlm2255Neither. I use Serviio.
I'll do a video
Adrii EastGuys we want to be very carful as these beloved apps may be at risk like our sites.
tritfitThese are basically media players, right? You buy your own video, save it on a server that supports one of these apps, and you can access it from a TV, computer, or other device. Am I right?
These are apps that help you manage how to select what will download onto your self hosted Netflix replacement
deregulatedrickPlex is actually trash and jellyfish has no good tvos apps
Zeusyou should make video on how to setup jellyseer to jellyfin
squawkingfuriouslyPlex will not use your GPU for transcoding unless you pay for Plex Pass. Locking me out of my own hardware unless I pay them was a no go.
RaineI’ve just gotten started with my home media server. Why would I need these? What do they even do?
Haschamalayou don't need them if it's just you these are for you to be sharing your content server with many people
Jano JamesKodi 👑
Jaxx ❌You know you may want to explain what it actually is and what it does
ShayughulEmby all day long. 😃
SpittingLamawhat's the point of hosting when u can stream (not netflix) content free online
ryan.warreyEMBY? 🥺
Yeah, I need to do a emby/kody video
icantreadPlex works perfect
NonyaPLEX needs a way to organize Audiobooks specifically..
There is the plex amp app, not sure if that works well for audio books though.
CheesemoRunning Emby and I have 0 issues with it, unlike I did with plex and jellyfin
Grover Tech ListHere to suggest Ruddarr for iOS!
I'll take a look
aggorcaddyIsn’t this just like stremio, that you install on your TV
Mel BrafWhat about with Apple TV
CervicheI run Plex media server and use a Plex client. I use filebot to automate my files to match moviedb and tvdb.
chenhopwoodcan I just have plex and jellyfin living together in harmony?
Kinda, you can run plex and Jellyfin servers but you can't use the JF client with Plex Server and vice versa.
chenhopwoodis it worth running both? for compatibility
Honestly, I'd say no real need.
NeonSmokePlex is for plebs.
Nuno Leal CorreiaI'm using coreelec on my android box s905x4 with nfs share on my pc. It's perfect for me.
Dylan Raineythe part that he probably can't/won't talk about can be found by typing "Usenet reddit" and clicking the new to Usenet? link. that's gonna fill some gaps here
Got a video on this coming.
ReyIs there a way to get jellyfin on my phone ?
There are Jellyfin android apps / ios apps I belive
🥸Jellyfin has multiple apps for iOS. I personally use Swiftfin.
Aprilgonna be honest, half the time I just open radarr or sonarr and add it in there
Yeah when you are used to it, it works, this is just a little cleaner, one app for all the things.
admakoam I the only one who got a email from plex that they got doxxed?
Nope I got one as well
crankygamerogRadarr, jackett, transmission
Taylorfun fact about overseerr. if you're on android (or at least samsung) you can open overseerr in your chrome browser and click add to homepage and it will install a mobile version of the app that runs like a normal app. works very well
TaylorI'm pretty confident it works for a variety of other websites, too. Overseerr just happened to be the first one I noticed that with
Dylan RaineyI don't understand the need for a seerr app at all. why have that if you have Plex or jellyfin
jjjjjjasonnnnnnWho’s here after Plex got hacked (again)?
Carlo Cocchi😭
underwearlover222I’ve never gotten the appeal of those movie hosting programs, I rarely watch movies more then a couple times, it’s way easier just to watch off some random website
I am personally a data horder.
Ray ZaneI'll stick to emby, it just works and doesn't have plex bloat. Apps are fantastic.
szmrI’ve tried both. Plex is more feature rich but of course not open source. Having to use the Plex app can be hit or miss because it’s also got “bloat” compared to Jellyfin
DrTaruPlex 100%
sugiliteShadowI'm on a friends Plex but I kind of wanna try jellyfin due to the lack of quality I've seen on Plex media
MatrixTorrent seed feeds Seedbox host that has Plex or Jellyfin app plugins. All in the cloud. Simple.
GardenOfWine❌I use Plex to serve up my own movies from personal dvds I’ve ripped, and it works just fine. So I’m not sure what benefits I would get from these, can you elaborate as to why I’d even use them?
MuizzFor personal rips: no benefit at all.
MrDerekibI’m on jellyseerr. Have a plex and Jellyfin (as a backup).
Dylan RaineyI use jellyfin but I don't get what jellyseerr would do for me
DanielI mean...I use emby
riddler432emby
Omarrunning Plex and jellyfin on the same box, still deciding but as a Plex pass lifetime subber it's still my fav, though jellyfin has a simple gui
iagreewitheverythit would be nice if you started by telling us what these things are. I have a Plex server but have never heard of these. But I still haven't.
Sorry, this is a response to the last videos I've been making.
iagreewitheverythThat isn’t an answer.
They are applications that allow you to browse for tv and movies and start an automated download workflow that will add them to your media library.
thetruthisoutther3I hope you don't share pirates videos over Internet with this, your isp and other agencies will find out and sue.
I do not condone piracy, Im just speaking about these tools for education purposes
thetruthisoutther3yah right sure.. lol like every other pirate also do ;)
s0met1ng_w0ngEmby is just for the elites
Amine_amrdmKodi team, park here 😁
🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 Monarch 🇵🇸🇺🇦I would happily use jellyfin if it was more user-friendly to none technical people. I tried to run jellyfin docker on my pi. wouldn't even load and all the documents and videos were about the granular level stuff. reflex it was download the docker image, open the image and it just runs.
Josh RathAfter losing internet for 2 days, Plex is a pain. It loads EXTREMELY slow when you lose internet. Jellyfin does not have that issue.
333aman7We k
seph200xI'm still using just kodi
Jeff JohnsonI don’t understand the points of these apps why not just use the Plex app
OTNas wit ZiDoo player boom that’s it no extra 😎
Dany GonzalezHave you had a chance to try HexOS?
tiktok_spy™Jellyfin for life
IndorilWhat is this stuff? I mean what are the Use Cases? Torrent films, store locally and watch later.?
Yes, replace netflix for basically $0 and always have the files even when you have no internet.
IndorilI have an old small form factor desktop machine. I am planning to install Linux with PFsense and a VPN to capture and drop YT advert packets so I can watch it without the commercials. I reckon I could incorporate this too
emby.
jared birdI actually really like Petio!
it looks really neat.
clientPeople who can’t read don’t like plex tbh 😂
Chrispy_TurtleUhhhh I drag and drop files…
LaserMcLaserfaceautomation. add a movie to radarr, it'll download it and put it into the right folder automatically. Add movies and when they're available, it automatically downloads them. with tv shows, it automatically downloads the latest episodes, no need to find and download them
LaserMcLaserfaceyah, basically. Just add whatever show or movie and it does the rest for you. Check out "trash guides", there is some legwork to setting it up but once that's done you're good for a long time.
Or you can watch the series I have on how to set it up, the last few videos have been about doing just that.
Ryan329Be careful with it. I went from like 20tb dragging and dropping and an average of 1tb/m data usage. Within a year of setting up those Arr programs I now average 7tb/m and have 104tb of media
That's just a little bit of data.
Ryan329For me its a lot but i know its shadowed by other data hoarders haha. Goal is though to beat crunchyroll in content by the end of 2027, already have more anime than most countries Crunchyroll operates in beyond the like top 8 or so as it JUMPS in content.
Now That is a goal to work towards.
Gleepicus🇸🇪what do you mean "get it in the server"? you just stick your stuff in your designated folder and it's there...
badthriftingthese apps are normally used in conjunction with the *arr programs, so you'd have to look into those to understand
DathanielHonestly so sick of Lidarr not being able to search. I might actually look into Ombi just because of that
Id be keen to hear how you go with it!
Noah Orin Hampton😑
GrayI may be a hater but plex is amazing. Plex pass was worth it. I've also never used any of these programs.
Daniel EbbenI get the gripes, but it's rock solid most of the time
Caleb WestThese apps are all great, but for me and my family/friends, the reason I chose plex was because it was the easiest and didn’t require me to set up a vpn on all of their devices. For that same reason, I just use Plex with their watchlists as RSS feeds so all they have to do is add a movie or show to their watchlist and it gets sent to Radarr or Sonarr. It’s the easiest for me and for my users.
owowowowofor jellyfin I just bought a cheap domain (you can even get the free ones) and and make a tunnel with cloudlfare zero trust since they changed their policy about it
Caleb WestWhen did they change their policy? I was going to do the same, but when I checked last year it was against TOS
owowowowocommunity .cloudflare. com /t/clarification-on-compliance-of-cloudflare-tunnel-zero-trust-for-personal-media-st/816217/4 This thread says that it's ok if you don't cache on it, i'd say it's stil a gray area but for a personal server i never had Issues with a setup like this
citizen1756Would you be willing to PM this old fart some instruction on how to setup a free domain, and cloudflair tunnel, etc? This seems like a more complicated version of what I have. I have jellyfin with tail scale. But I liked the sound of what you were describing.
MatthewI'm in the Emby camp... I was there when the strife happened that spawned Jellyfin. They can suck it.
_Klonoa_then you have me still using kodi ever since it was xbmc lol.
myosgeekI coded my own
Lion StarkPlex is great, if you need to transcode there is free options
GuacAndRollChatGPT of all things put me on to Overseerr, Radarr, Sonarr, etc . Walked me through getting it set up on my Linux machine. I just pop it up when I think about something I want to see and just forget it until one day I get a Plex notification something is added to my library
Perfect.
RollingI like Plex, sue me, every time I tried to use jellyfin remotely, the app doesn't work, especially the Android Auto app
Eagles and BeaglesI spend my time building my media collection instead of maintaining my ability to watch it. Plex pass was so worth it
vampire_lord_red_fang_790alright I'll sue you jk 🤣 but ya I've seen plex make it were you pay for remote now
WandvochtRemote connection on jellyfin works differently compared to Plex if you're used to that. While with jellyfin you actually need to port forward or connect over a VPN, there is no need for that with Plex. Plex servers actually proxy everything between your mobile device and your server. (which in my opinion is the biggest reason not to use it)
Rollingit's not the port forwarding, I already handled that, when using the mobile app and dropping connection for a slight second will banish you to the shadow realm and have to relogin, which sucks when you're driving, hence why I brought up the android auto app. hopefully they fixed it as it's been years since I used jf, I respect it and it's users
ClotaireBut now Plex remote access is locked behind a paywall
I have a video on tailscale coming
WillowNonTotally respect that. For some reason, I find hoarding media and micro managing my folders, metadata, subtitles and so on weirdly relaxing. Like I'm some goblin protecting his treasure😂
The Noisy FoxI had the opposite. Plex was buggy as all hell for me, Jellyfin just works.
EcstaticScholar846I've used both jellyfin and plex and I prefer plex because jellyfin always tried to only transcode my media vs plex just direct playing it nothing was different about the file I wish there was a option to turn that off but I couldn't find it
wolfpackI loved it too, but now you need to pay yet another subscription
PortalSkyI use Jellyfin I love it so much, built a cheap server for $50 and run it for years
Lazieyes but overseer is more for like discovering new stuff also it's good for if you are sharing a library with family members and you don't want them messing with your radar and sonar set up overseer and set up their permissions where they can only request
Shunterprowlarr
NͥOEͣLͫWhy overseerr? Can’t you just hook up sonarr and radarr to monitor the Plex watchlist? And discover media through Plex?
GuacAndRolloverseerr tees up requests for media to Radarr or Sonarr who take over from there. front end interface layer over top. if there's something I want I add in overseerr and it hands off to one or the other. better interface and more polished
Juan Mc Dwhat are your thoughts on casaos Vs zimaos?
I used CasaOS purely as it was simple and very light weight, and Zime is built on CasaOS, I like that Zima is bundlded with Vm's though.
TonyHey dude, dont forget about emby, plex runs amazing but is now paid remotly, and jellyfin runs awful for me for some reason, Emby is better then both in my opinion
Logan EllisI absolutely love Jellyfin! what do you mean it runs awful for you?
TonyWell skipping ahead and playback buffers for way to long between 4-12 sec in worst cases, same system same media directory buffer time is like 1-3 max seconds on both plex and emby. I ofc dont have a gpu in my system, but it runs flawlessly with other platforms, so idk 🤷 id love to get it to work because I refuse to pay for plex and emby, so I have to just stick with embys free features which is enough for me and a couple of friends.
MaxMy TV and ps5 doesnt support plex 😭
Really? I know I needed to change locations to get the plexapp on the PS4, maybe thats the issue?
MaxYeah, my TV doesnt have plex, and I cant install it
MaxMy PS is the last resort... I wanted to be able to browse my films from the NAS directly on the TV...because I move my PS5 around in the house... sometimes I play games in my room...
CeslavWhat about emby...
Emby is a solid choice, in this video though I was just responding to the majority of comments.
wolfpackPlex is dead
uwujustforyouwuWhy
X41They have changed how they work and now you *have* to buy a plex pass to be able to stream your stuff
natronNo, you don’t. You only have to buy a pass if you want to stream outside your home network. For many people (like myself), it’s still perfectly fine for watching media at home from a server also located at home.
X41My bad, forgot that's a usecase as well. I probably haven't used it like that in ~10 years 😅
I did a video on using cloudflare for that, but I have a new one on using tailscale coming.
TimI cant use that because my upload is Like 2mb/s lol I Only use it to Play my blurays:)
dave1234568Also it’s often only ~£79 for a lifetime license. I purchased this years ago for other features like offline downloads etc. nothing wrong with paying for something you use so much.
Agreed
Marcel SchalkI bought a lifetime membership for 80€ on Black Friday. All of my friends and I use the same profile. No issues so far and it's easy to set up.
Smart.
X41Yeah it's not that expensive, it's more a thing of not agreeing with their business practices
kothari_aryaLONG LIVE JELLYFIN
Aaron BishopIt’s not cheap, but Firewalla allows for a VPN site to site connection if you have their hardware.
I'd love a firewalla. I'm planning on getting a firewall device, opnsense something with 4 ports, for firewall and failover.. But you're right it's expensive.
Crumchy🌵I've been using Plex for years and am still using it. you can use their remote access to stream outside your network. I also have the server shared with friends and they have access through their accounts
YouAreDefinitelyStupidImagine having to pay for this when you can get it for free, its almost like you lost the plot. We want zero restrictions.
peacemaker5OHJellyseerr is further along than overseerr, overseerr is being abandoned
Tiuku2kuI just use vlc and chromecast
CobiI want to change to jellyfin from Emby but on Google TV jellyfin is not able to change any audio og subtitlet track before starting the movie do I have to do it after and I something in the layout I don't like when you're watching you category is to compact
cosmicriceyi just use upnp on a nas, just copy the files
WouterCan someone explain why you would use any of these apps over just Plex watchlisting and using something like Pulsarr or Watchlistarr to handle the background stuff? Why would I use another app?
Meerly alternatives is all :)
WouterOf course I get that. It's just that these alternatives are pretty popular and I'm wondering why. Are they better at exploring content than apps like Plex or something? What's the benefit of having an additional interface?
highhosilverits convenience for me. I have a couple friends that use my server, using overseer hooked into sonarr/radarr let's me set a discord bot for them to request things so I dont have to deal with texts asking me to grab things. plus bazaarr hooked into the whole thing automatically grabs subtitles
EzraPlex has a prescription service.
Shane HodgsonWorth noilt8ng that the lidarr integration in Ombi has not been actively looked at in a long time. its there but limited
And Lidarr seems to be having some issues at the moment too, maybe its Lidarrs time to pass
zhongzhouwhat issues are lidarr having?
It's having issues with the api/search and meta data, it may be solved but was still down a few days ago.
Wurstwasserthis 🦜🛥️🏴☠️Tok?
Wurstwasserinteresting comparison. I decide just by logo and since I use jellyfin u know what I'll use. whatever this is for at all, I'll find out
BadjaI use Plex on my home pc, manually pulling omdb and "getting" my media direct from magnet links. if I want to use this kind of thing (sonarr etc) can I do it from my windows or pc, or will I need to change to a home server? I have Plex lifetime and my friends use it as a platform
Badjaspecifically asking because I use GPU encoding when my friends stream from my Plex and I don't have a spare GPU sitting around for that purpose
tomnuusyeah you can install all of these on windows, you don't need a Linux server or even docker
jyeah you can do that, but it's not how the over guy stated, you need to use Linux, but luckily windows has a built in VM that docker desktop on windows uses called WSL. WSL supports GPU acceleration, and I know its possible to use that in your docker but it can be quite complicated, especially if you never used docker before
AnphantHow about Petio?
Petio looks good, plex login, radar and sonarr support. Id say its worth a try.
OluNo, we just downloaded from ☠️and copy content to a designated media folder
Owen Hunterif you aren't using the *arrs then you're doing it wrong
MuizzThis software does all that for you
natronJust say you’re newgen
GuacAndRollI used to but when I started using Sonarr/Radarr that sits and waits then finds the quality torrent, downloads, renames, organizes into folders, ads to library, and refreshes, ends torrent and cleans up.. it's a dream
user69445654714It has to integrate with the other services like radaar, sonaar etc, but you can do that just with those services itself
MuizzYeah, that's how I do it now that I don't have dependents. Easier to have one point of entry if you're sharing though
WillowNon"all that" as if dragging and dropping some files into a new folder is somehow too much effort. I could be missing something of course.
MuizzIf I want a new film now I go to media.local on my phone/pc, search, and select. It takes about a minute. This will find the right tracker, version, ensure it's downloaded to the right place, and imported to my library with my standardized naming scheme. Previously, I would have to go to the tracker myself, search there, manually select the version, move that to the torrent client, wait for the download to finish, then move and rename the files (software uses hardlinks which is nice). All in all it took about 15-20 minutes. Both are perfectly doable, but it's a big QoL improvement, and I wouldn't go back, because I'm lazy.
ЭдяWhich program lets you do that, I would also like to avoid downloading torrents and loading into my nas
MuizzThe arr stack: radarr/sonarr, prowlarr, overseer, qbit, possibly with jackett
ЭдяIs all of this compatible with Linux
MuizzYeah. Just run it in docker and save yourself some headaches.
Miraskame: CopyParty, Kodi
NameMe just doing sshfs and mpv...
ToxictagerI use jellyfin and for my family to request stuff for me to put on there I just made a website that let's them request things in a db and then I can view it and put stuff on
Jerrett FowlerI said in your previous video that overseerr wasn’t updated and I just noticed they had some activity a few weeks ago. But when I looked several months ago, maybe almost a year ago, there was about 2 years of no updates. So perhaps it’s getting very intermittently updated. I wouldn’t say jellyseerr lags behind overseerr, since they pretty much are diverged at this point. But yes they have similar feature sets.
March 26th was the last official release. the previous was july 28 2023.. so yeah its slow.
bot274728emby cause the apps work with more
connorthescotWouldn’t bother with overseerr over jellyseerr, afaik overseerr hasn’t had an actual update in a while while jellyseerr still gets regular updates.
Kazakoverseerr didn't recently come alive again but jellyseer is miles ahea
Kazak*did
Scott-id😉
Yeah, Last release on overseerr was March 26th.
JonathanCould you go through adding gluetun to prowlarr etc? Found it difficult to do on casaOS
Yeah, I can do that!
D1NGOI just stated fixing my jellyfin, its so fun. making A jellyfin server. and when I found out you can customise it ! man I aint getting plex 😅
Wurstwassercustomizing in which aspects?
D1NGOwell you can basicaly, make it look like you want, fuctionality customizable, plugon management and so fort. what do you want to Customize well depends on your preference
WurstwasserI'm not really missing much. I'd hope for way better support for metadata support for German local produced stuff like wdr or arte concerts though
D1NGORead the news on German Adblock....well never been better to host something on your own 😇
PigJohnI use both 🤣
yolomancerI'm using Kodi with Streamio. works pretty well
BushyI missed a switch, we've got a long standing emby server which 'just works'. Why would I switch to the jellyfin fork?
Mira 🚦Because it's open source and newer
user4p682jpowjOpen source fine. But what’s different, feature wise?
Mira 🚦Not that much for base features, but plugins and theming are easier
natronokay I just use Plex and have my media sorted with folders and file names then Plex gets fancy metadata out of the box, why would I want any of this
