Replying to @raheeco I belive Overseer is more like a library tool, and is just a better user experience than watch lists, but this is my opinion only.

ST150can I map overseer to more than one instance of radar/sonarr? trying to find the best way to manage 4k vs HD content and having two separate Plex libraries managed by separate *arrs was recommended
Honestly not too sure, but you can use plex watchlists for one, and then overseer for another, that will work.
robinrbg😁😁😁
David NavalhoIt’s also a much simpler method of requesting titles for everyone else that lives in the household and are not as technically inclined!
Yeah same. Kids jsut aske me for what they want and its done.
Meh 🫤How I describe overseer and jellyseer is that imagine IMDb but having the ability to say I want to watch that one let’s add it to my watch list / downloads etc
MezaI use trakt.tv and watchlists. Both radarr and sonarr can link up to it. It's a great alternative if you don't want to self host _everything_
Trakt.tv is intersting
MezaIt used to have an impeccable recommendation engine. Not anymore sadly but at least you can share your lists with friends and it knows about everything I ever looked up, no matter how obscure
MezaThe best thing is that if someone mentions something to me out in the world, I can whip my phone out, click an "add to watchlist" button and by the time I'm home, sonarr/radarr got it. I don't need access to my internal network from the outside
Nice, I thik they all seem to have a similar feature set but subtle differences
MezaYeah, it's great to have options. Been using a setup like this since around 2010. The tools evolved over the years but have never been more relevant than now. It's the equivalent of cable cutting
Skywalker_ZASame like Jellyseerr
Meh 🫤It can technically be a watch list. Because you can say monitor this tv show for any latest episode etc
Connor Canvessreally dont know what pc or laptop to buy to start this i have an insane gaming PC is it worth using that or is it best to get a separate computer?
I wouldn't have this sort of thing set up on the same device you use regually. Get something basic off marketplace, add some drives and hide it away.
Grigg027🥰🥰🥰
Ndlovu ZibusisoIs it possible to set it to auto-download. This would allow that not tech savvy members of the family to just browse Plex and see "the new added" section
I think there is a setting to just auto approve yes.
Blake ClaytonBeen using all these for a while now, but more recently I’ve started streaming using Stremio and Real Debrid. Is there a decent way of integrating Debrid services into the arrs* stack?
From what I can tell no, there isn't really any way to connect them.
mcdonaldtipungfootyHi Ben, loving the series and your insight. I’m just wondering what the process would be if instead of running it off a raspberry pi, I was to run it off an unused laptop?
I used the pi as an example, but you can use an old laptop 100%, what operating system is it using?
mcdonaldtipungfootyCurrently running windows 11 I believe, would that be useful or would I load another OS onto it?
I belive windows 11, can run all the apps like normal windows applications but it might be worth creating a VM install Linux server and then casa (or simiar) and keeping it seperte. Should I make a video on doing that?
mcdonaldtipungfootyA video would be awesome! I can figure it out myself but would also enjoy seeing how an expert does it, so up to you!
