Feb 12, 2026🥰🥰🥰 I unfortunately need to rebuild the database structure as popular and some of the filtering isn't working as well as I want, and will break in future updates, but that will allow for a lot more tooling in the future like making an account to be able to save a favorite. like I needed to do today!

messyspikeIf that's how you pulled it together, youre going to need to create a system to auto injest updates from all of those sites otherwise youre going to get so outdated so quickly!

Feb 11, 2026totally, right now ingetsnis mostly automated, and while the pipeline takes 2 hours or so to run its a background operation so not too hear to stay up to date. the issue I have now is I have to restructure the db schema to manage more sorting and other features...

ha11syI'm really keen to replace YouTube music and still have the same level of use, ie use away from home etc. I checked your site but it probably isn't clear to me which product(s) I use and the pathway forward

Feb 11, 2026I'm planning on adding a projects tool as well, so you can say, I want to replace x and it will help. but lidarr is the app you'll want to use. I have a TT video on replacing Spotify that will help

Feb 11, 2026yeah, I'm trying to solve that with alternative search, but it's slow going getting the data sorted out... time will solve that.
messyspikeI havent used Youtube Music, but I assume its Spotify/Tidal etc? You can use Jellyfin with Jellyflix or Feishin or one of the many other audio players on their site.

Maybe on a side note and as inspiration: digitec.ch has a really nice way of being able to submit edits to technical details of their products (look at any produc -> expand Specifications and at the bottom you can edit what‘s wrong and they will double check) might be a nice ui to suggest edits but this is nitpicking… excited to see how this project evolves
