This is a long one, not sure if it will cut off though (I'll also add it on my YT.) I just started with #cursor and I'm OK with it, after putting it off for a long time. In this I'll go into detail on how I plan a project to vibe code a large, multi tennent application and give some tips on how yiu can better plan your apps as well.

Kr0noL1nkgithub copilot Pro+ and you have claude opus between others, like antigravity with 1500 requests. Using Plan to create markdown files that latter you can trigger with agent adding to context
AlwaleedI did exactly what you did do and I was so surprised that someone else had come to the same conclusion, Regarding the build of the database schema I used knex.js to make sure that the database had been built correctly
Craig 🇦🇺I'm interested to know if you've tried Spec Kit on Github? I'm about to load it as a tool for Agent-Zero but if you've got an opinion,..... ?
Tom Sepei’ve been really happy with cursor for the mist part. i did a project this year with 4 quadruped robots and wireless dmx and some other features. i couldnt have done it without cursor. and I was able to build markdown documentation files as I went which allowed me to easily start over if needed as well as pass on the whole repo and project to others
nice, yeah since I stated with it I've not stopped.
DagI would suggest Supabase for the backend. You can run it locally and the Supabase cloud service is not bad either.
I do like supabase.
AndaluciasteveSeems a bit hair-shirt. Why don't you just use an existing CMS and bolt your features onto it?
It's more a datatable tool than a CMS, but yes it's a good idea
ZeakAUSHey thanks for the videos learning heaps, is there any chance you could share your rules text?
Oh yeah, totally. I'll do that
phantomeditorWelcome to the cursor family! It’s scary good, and every week there’s a new models to test out which pushes the bar even more
Yeah, I'm really liking it
oneshotdashieAwh man I was really loving your content till you said vibe coder
unclefunny how doing waterfall projects and documentation first seems to be the only ways to make ai perform decently
PLOTSo what’s this for again??
Haha, this I me moving to cursor but showing people how I set up a massive application and then vibe code it into existence.
fenicican you try claude as well please as that's what I currently use and it's doing pretty good
I'm honestly not super impressed with claude, but trying more as I go.
pitorcitoi've been writing code for over 23 years now, couple of months ago i caved and used claude code. it's both fascinating and terrifying!
Yeah
bumpyjohnstanwhy not use just Claude code, and just vscode ?
It's the planning, agency, llms witching and so on, rules and mcps.
MindlessPuppetzHeyyyy glad you gave it another chance! I have been absolutely enjoying it. Planning mode is great for larger projects as well
Yeah, I like how they have ironed a lot of the bugs out, I tried it when it first launched and was unimpressed. Adding the planning guide, and the ongoing documentation, helps it, oh and the user rules as well. Aaand swapping models.. Yeah happy till I thi the token limit I KNOW I'll hit soon, will annoy. I'm on the $60 plan and I just know I'll get boned.
MindlessPuppetzI’m only on the $20 and use it almost daily after work. A tip: use the better models for your more complex issues, use their base model for simpler stuff. You’ll avoid those limits far more
Yeah, switching based on task is my plan.
