I’m based in Thailand, and even though I’ve passed the threshold for TikTok monetisation, there’s no creator fund or ad revenue here — so there’s really no way to earn directly from the platform. Sponsored posts are an option, but I’m not interested in turning this channel into an ad feed. Someone once bought me a coffee through my link, which was amazing, but I don’t want to just take donations without giving anything back. So I’ve been thinking about starting a Patreon — but only if it actually gives value to you. If I did, what would you want to see there? Maybe long-form builds — like going from zero to a full home lab, or setting up a network or NAS from scratch — before those videos go public later. It’s really an open question. If you were supporting the channel, what would make it worth it for you?

FirstInSpace70I enjoy the content. I have zero experience in the IT field, and probably a below average intelligence about software. I have been watching and researching because I really want to get into doing some sort of home lab. mostly, im at the point of researching and seeing what hardware I have laying around to get me started. good content, and YouTube may be good, but I think people tend to get a little more personable through patreon

donkaI don't watch YouTube. Too many not skippable ads. Id support on Patreon. With the option of requesting specific videos. Eg. I'm homelabbing like you. I run my media services on top of my Nas. Id like to understand better how to isolate the network of the arr stack while still be able to access my media services locally and remotely

brändowhat i get out of your content is a giant decision tree that is helping me tweak/plan homelab scenarios— if you have X hardware; if you want Y services; if you care Z much about ease vs options — but it’s piecemeal from lots of various videos, so maybe that’s something that could be consolidated? but i’d also root for you to just keep doing what you’re doing 😉

njc2oI only consume your stuff through TikTok and idk if I’d like / need anything beyond the free content. Free resources are super valuable and speaking for myself I’d prefer to bankroll for open content than have it pay walled. Maybe YouTube subs?
