After showing my #Unraid #homelab rack and mentioning I’ve got around forty-five #Docker containers running on one of my servers, someone asked what exactly I’m running — and how many of those paid subscriptions I’ve managed to replace. So in this video, I’m going to take you through my main compute server and show you what’s actually running inside my homelab.

zurzachThank you for the vide. in most of your videos and specially in this video its really hard to see the actual content....
zurzachMaybe you can try to either lower screen area of your face or zoom into content that you are talking about, so that its easier for the viewer.
Yeah, I'm thinking I'm going to remake videos and put them on YT so it's easier to see
Cirethanks! I got my Unraid running and have only dabbled in my Plex host. that said, I wanna do other things with that PC I built. This sort of tossed some ideas in my lap, so I appreciate it.
prlswabbieGoogle or YouTube trash guides. That’s the standard for your ARR-stack
Cirethanks for the tip. appreciate it.
GroxCan you provide a higher rew screenshot of how you sort your containers and which again are running as a reference?
I think I'll make a full youtube video or something.
Sean McWilliamsAre you running Obsidian itself as a container or just a Sync Service? What’s the experience like running it via homelab?
Running obsidian in a container, not sync. And it's fantastic
njc2oRack tuah?
Lok
InKc913Can you go over your flow chat again and maybe provide a little detail into making it and sorting it out?
Which one sorry?
goncalopcwow this is a lot 😅 any chance you have all these with descriptions on how you use them in some place? it would be easier to read each of them and find out if I can use any of them for myself
Yeah, I will make something I think.
goncalopcgreat! will you make a video about it?
Marco😵Cool, cool, but what’s a docker container? 🤣
The entryway to a whole new world!
jbeaver04I enjoyed watching this , even though I have no idea what he is talking about
Hahaha, well maybe I'll inspire you into starting your own homelab!

OrdinaryBypasserthank you for this video, I am currently checking some of these tools I never knew existed

Fantastic! glad to help
bumpyjohnstanthat unpaid machine is it a PC with a bunch of drives loaded into it ?
ronald10888What the hardware you run all this on? What’s the power draw from that?
I'm running a Dell r630, with 126gb ram, twin xeon CPUs, and the ups shows its pulling 99w of power. All this was second hand, refurbished gear so it's cheap as I could go.
focus9000What is the electricity cost of that server running 24/7? I’m leery of the monthly cost of doing that.
My dell server, gamin pc, Mac, Dell optiplex, home assistant and switches used 190kwh in November. I pay 25usd or 40aud a month of all of it.
