I often need to deploy to a public server apps and sites I build for stuff, and I was going to deploy CasaOSon the Dell I purchased recently. But I decided to install #Coolify instead and oh my, it's really good, free and super fast to set up. Now I have a heroku repla emt on my home server for as many Web apps as i could ever want!

joshuaroodeI also use coolify on my ubuntu VPS. Dokploy is also pretty good
Ohh, I've not played with dokploy!
kiddtestedThis is an amazing way to dog food your own apps.
Oh, yeah it really is, and sharing prototypes as well.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯have you done any videos on setting up cloudflare tunnels and a reverse proxy? been wanting to set one up for myself but haven't figured anything out from my 30 seconds of googling
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSU26ECT5/ yup, hope this helps
bumpyjohnstanone of the best creators if not the best on tiktok. thanks for the videos in tech and these videos help me learn a tonne
Haha thanks, I'd not go that far but I appreciate it :)
I use dokploy, I prefer the UI over coolify’s. It’s more modern, feels more like vercel.
Looks great, I'm not a fan of the coolify ui, but committed now :(
Oussema HarrabiThanks for the video, Benjamin! I just heard about Coolify for the first time — I’m definitely going to try it out on my home lab
I was just told of Dokploy as well, the same but a better ui.
wztxka sort of hypervisor?
It's like a docker service built for Web apps. Eg deploy a WordPress in a click, that's sort of thing.
TotalOmg this is amazing you keep showing me more new thinks to tinker with and deploy to my home lab and I love your videos you brake things down in such a easy to follow fashion
A friend mentioned it to me a while ago and I had trouble trying to get it running, but as the optiplex was free I thought I'd give it another go and, it's great. Got this set up and deployed a client app for them to review in less than a day.
