Is not a promotion for that Kickstarter campaign I just felt it was worth sharing or chatting about because I like what the operating system is doing with built in AI. And with their philosophy it SEEMS, of personal home AI for EVERYONE. It's a all in one box which is something that I've been kind of keen on trying to do myself so yeah, interesting. Is it worth IT? no idea. it's ugly but it's kinda cheap(for a nas) so might be worth jumping on if you got the cash.

Nov 12, 2025Honestly Nextcloud can be a pain to set up, same with Owncloud.. there are others like Seafile I think are much easier.

funstuieI backed it. Just based on the price point. I got a UGREEN NAS and while it’s fine it’s loud as… and the os is just annoying. So I built my own in truenas. This is something im willing to take a chance on.
