#debrid is another way to get access to content and cut the Netflix cables. A debrid will download your files for you, and then you stream from that service.

MrAussie_at_CODI absolutely love RD been using them for 6 years with a couple apps on the Nvidia box. I do need to find better ways to use their services. I strongly recommend this to everyone.
MrAussie_at_CODlook up syncler it's a little more setup but so much better than stremio
Oh interesting, I'll take a look
ItikAnyone remembers Emule (edonkey2000) 😌
Old School
LittleBoxesI guess there just isn't enough motivation (in my older, more selective years) for me to bothered with learning how to take advantage of the more recent content viewing alternatives — especially given the moderately reasonable subscription rates for PBS Masterpiece, BritBox, and AcornTV.
Understandable, but it all adds up, and never too old to learn :)
dankyboxmedia😭😭😭
Mike 🐻⬇️I thought Real Debrid got real anti everything, I used to use them then switched to premiumize
I just used them as an example here, there are a lot of services, and some are far better than others.
thespacecowboyStremio FTW. Fully encrypted. Like Netflix but has LITERALLY everything.
100%
crispyduckPair Real-Debrid with Stremio and you’re home freeeeeee
Its a solid option, and must do.
Every thing is down at the same time-RD is un-caching a lot so nothing works
natronJesus Christ why are people making piracy so much more complicated than it needs to be
Debrid isn't the same as a download, its more like a streaming source option is all.
natronexactly, why bother when you can just download the file and play it locally? Like I don’t get the appeal unless you’re on a restricted network like a school or
eternalstubbornpersonally I don't have that kind of space on my android tv 😂😂
natronyou don’t have a desktop or laptop computer?
natronIt’s okay, just say you’re not tech savvy
ano612love the debrid. also while they call it cache they might be keeping them for months or indefinitely, which also helps the community, as others could request that same file later and get it immediately.
I assumes its "cache" in so far as its SSD high speed storage sore virtualised as a cache.
Julian McEvoyI used to think I was good at this stuff. Now thanks to you I had to go back to school all over again. 😂
lol, its always changing!
Rida DennaWhat happens when you give a torrent link with a virus?
XxCRABSTICKxXnot like your installing the streamed file on your pc/TV, soooo nothing
darkside phillWhat do you use to make those diagrams?
I self host a tool called Drawio, its awesome and free.
I did a video recently on how to install and run Draw if you're interested.
JeremySo I've been a long time Plex user with my own local NAS and just manual torrents. Just recently started using Streamio along side for on the fly stuff and find it kinda magic. So far its had everything directly available already and for free. What's then the advantage of incorporating RealDebrid?
You can download 4k videos to a remote location to stream from there. But plex +Stremio honestly, it's not really going to add more.
Jeremyon that's!
Emil Laurila5x12=60$/year that's a new 3TB HDD (more than 1000 movies) every year. I'd rather torrent locally on my home network and not rely on the internet while I'm watching something.
Good math.
SlushyPieTorbox has gotten way better than real debrid IN MY OPINION.
I'll have to take a look
SlushyPieIts almost the same thing, but in a way its a seedbox. Has torrents, web download usenet magnets
user3069222407190I don’t know if i understand right. But tkinking to use it I my plex server. I have a bunch of user who’s streaming from my plex server
If you share access to it, then yes you can have that.
ًWaste of bandwidth.
Which bit?
SlushyPieId assumw they mean downloading the content then not actually saving it. Although it doesnt matter.
eternalstubbornI'm only watching it one time so ... not really
IndorilCache is pronounced like "cash" in the UK. Never heard it pronounced the way you have. Anyway, Debrid sounds like a great option. Can you save these streams locally?
You can download it, but it's not really the value of the service, you would use a seedbox instead.
No Sympathy For Neurotypicalsthere is only one accent in all the uk?
IndorilThere are many, non that I have heard, however, pronounce it that way. It's an observation, not a criticism
thespacecowboyIt's pronounced like that in the US as well 😂
jamessheen✝️Real-debrid is goat
It really is.
Ted Jonesbeen using real-debrid for years & kodi even longer (since the xbmc days). setting up the plug-ins can be a pain, but when you find one that works really well, real-debrid is a must & reliable. I pay €32 a year 👍
What apps/tools are you using to search for and get files with?
Ted JonesI've been lazy and leave it all to Kodi plugins to find all the links. and if I like the movie or TV series, I then individually download via Kodi. and if I can't, I'll search for it on a torrent search. I was thinking on setting up the R's on my truenas, but I don't intend to DL TV programs, just the odd movie or 2. I also use Kodi to view all the movies in other rooms. I don't have smart TV's, but I do have Kodi on a raspi (daughter's room) & Kodi on my htpc (living room) and they can connect to my nas 👍
Figger06Same, beens using kodi and seren with trakt for years. Ive tried a few different options and its the the most reliable for devrid IMO. Ive tried stremio and those which can look better but not as reliable.
Ted JonesI used to use seren, but seren got told to stop supporting real-debrid, or they would get sued. there is a workaround, but even that is hit n miss. so I pop onto kodiapps.com to see what apps are trending & install them. but even they are hit n miss.
Figger06Similar to myslef, for shows id watch on repeat. I download via kodi and use liberelec on my pi. I just use kodi on my pi as my media server. It suits my needs for my faves and the kids stuff. I use seren for new shows, movies and stuff i wouldnt watch on repeat.
Figger06FYI, with the update for seren to make it work with real debrid. It looks like its stuck on 77% of the installation but leave it run, it definitely works. At first I thought it was stuck but it seems to take a while at that pount and then install with no issues 👍
Ted Jonesah, nice one & thanks 👍🍺
