JonYour videos are awesome! I’m a newbie to it, set up Plex, and rr suite just all on windows (most familiar). I’m running into issues for remote streaming as I have Nord running for my media downloads. What’s the best way to set up on one computer and seperate Plex server (no vpn) and everything else with vpn? I’ve tried split tunnelling and is still not working. 😬

Oct 27, 2025Map the Plex server directly to the shared folder on your local network, so even if its on nord, locally you can connect to it, I think.

Oct 10, 2025Kinda but Not really, but they are moving people to zimaos, which is the same but a Baremetal os. As it's got better storage management and so on.

NickNo it’s docker management. So casa App Store but you can get to the compose file.

TBigFishJust watch on PCs or get LibreElec on raspberry pi for your TVs. So much simpler than all of this.

Aug 21, 2025Yeah the *Arr stack apps make it work really well. I'm using plex in this series but, jellyfin will work as well, with vary little difference, it's only the initial setup of folders that would change. I'm a plex fan, so that's my choice, also the plex app works on playstation. Nothing else does.
